"Positioning Error" while burning of CDs with Nero

Hey,
Recently started getting an error msg "Positioning Error" while burning CDs with Nero. The burn process obviouly fails after showing this msg. The drive is a samsung CD R/RW (SW-248F Ver. R602). It happens even in the least of burning speeds. I tried with other burning softwares too but in vain.
However, it reads the CDs perfectly though!!

Any remedies as to how the drive's successful writing capability can be resurrected??

Either the drive has gone bad.. Or you are using *very* cheap media. Positioning errors occur when the lense is not able to focus on the track correctly..
