Default Hibernate Problem - Plz help


hey technocrats,

I own a sony vaio VGN - FE15GP laptop that has recently been creating a problem such that when i switch on to hibernate mode....a msg pops sayin "insufficient resources to complete the API" and then the onle option is to shut down..........what do i do?

wth do u have to do double posts ...We arnt deaf/blind to see stuff

Maybe there is insufficient free space on ur hard disk...!?

try this : get into the power applet in control panel and disable hibernation.
then re-enable it. reboot. this recreates the hiberfile.sys in the root directory.
