Question 64-bit windows

hi i have a amd turion 64-bit p0rocessor latop acer..i have currently installed windows xp home sp2 i wanted to kno whether i should install windows x64 on my machine..how will it help me i am a hardcore gamer need help wid this

^^ Avoid 64 bit at this point of time.. Most software dont work on 64 bit yet..

its better to steer clear off 64 bit XP. The reason, as kalpik said, rare amount of applications for 64 Bit. And yeah! my personal experience says it will cause mjore harm than good. Stick to 32 Bit

go for x64 no harm there using it for more than a year. Btw if u are thinking of buying it then drop the idea and get Vista x64 after a few month

Well its recommended that if u r gonna install 64bit OS than get ya ram increased and add a grafix acclerator like Nvidea Geforce7000gt but i thik u shouldnt be crazy for 64bit OS coz hardcoregaming does absolutely well in a 32 bit OS
