Default can not stand by

I have P3 800MHz Ram:320MB Hdd:40GB motherboard:810

i can see "stand by" option but it is not highlighted.
plz help.
i want to activate that option.

Try to install VGA drivers from ur motherboard CD...

the problem was there because ACPI tag in the bios under power management was disabled
i changed it to enable
& everything is fine.
