I don't know what the hell is this ServiceManager...This prob appeared all of a sudden.I have also reinstalled my Op system "WinXp professional".This prob still persists.Everytime i disable this Service manager from startup but it again gets activated on reboot. I dont exactly know whether i c'd call it a virus or not.. but i have faced the same problem a yr before.. This service manager (say virus) do infect the backups too... although u reinstall win XP, after installing your softwares, it'll again affect ur system.. U can find this service manager running in the taskbar manager with different icons attached to it and keeps changing the icons too...
If you have ur backups in dvds or cds, format the harddisk entirely and copy fresh copies of backups or otherwise try scanning using Zone Alarm antivirus.. (Once my frend told that he was able to remove this by zone alarm). |
