Internet Explorer Beta 3 problem?

I dwnld Internet Explorer Beta 3 from www.softpedia.com...It was a compressed SFX archive...I extracted the archive using winrar to a separate folder and not the default folder where the previous Internet Explorer was installed...Then i wen to the folder where it was extracted...There i got a folder called "UPDATE".i clicked on it and inside i found a file called "Update.exe"...I clicked on it and it started updating my previous version of IE....50% of progress happened and then it discontinued...i waited for 90 min and still there was no progress...i just closed it and again tried clicking the file Update.exe...this time also i got the same result...Due to this IE is screwd and it doesnt open...I have no probs coz i use firefox but how do i solve this problem...I got the new icon of Internet Explorer Beta 3 but it doesnt open coz the installation didnt progress...

pirated windows i guess....else download from microsoft.com, it works.

Mine is not pirated...If dont know the solution no rubbish allowed here

You dont need to extract it. Just double click and the installation will begin.

The main file should be a cabinet file......I got a cabinet file...just execute the file.......

Yeah its a cabinet file named "IE7BETA3-WindowsXP-x86-enu". U might have set winrar to open cabinet files. Just run the file directly... and it should work.

I just suggested u download from microsoft.com if u have genuine windows.

Try downloading from www.microsoft.com and then installing it.
