In one system of our cafe network, I am facing this problem... Limited user account of this system cant access the Documents of admin user account... admin accounts are not password protected (removed the password because of this porblem...)... & i have made sure the files are not made private... but still limited accounts of that system cant access the admin accounts documnets... http://img244.imageshack.us/img244/4447/untitled0nr.jpg but the strange thing is other limited users of other system of this network can access this systems admin files... then what i have done worng that only the limited accounts of this system wont get access to admin files?? for information... if i just make the limited user accounts admin... then it can access the files... pls help...

Disable simple file sharing (tools->folder options->view). Then login via admin account. Right click folder->properties->security->add->advanced->find now->select everyone from the list->ok->ok->full control->allow->apply.
That should do the trick! |

maybe a bug by ms to not allow limiter users of the same system but the limited users of other systems to access admin files.
Ensure that the documents folder are not password protected my documents>Properties Another thing that mite help u is changing the limited users into power users U can do this by going to CP>Admin tools>Com Mgmt>Users and changing the limited users to power users. Dunno whether this will work 4 sure

what u need to do is.login as admin .. go to the folder that u want to share.. go in its properties... >security tab> add button> type in the limited user name > then give him access as u want...
that will definately do the trick...
