hey ppl i just downlded this file ....8 Mile - Eminem - Full Movie - DivX.mp4
now the problem is thet im not able to play this file i hd dwnlded frm lime wire and around 150 ppl had it so why is it tht i am not able to play it i tried the gspot but it is also not able to detect it...i hv tried vlc player...zoom player cole2k codec pack ....kazaalite cosec pack......

If you are unable to play it,it may be corrupted.

its not corrupted coz i saw my friend playing the same file on his laptop usin media player....

If your friend has played the file on his Laptop, then the problem with your machine may be that the codecs registry lockdown might have corrupted, so they are unable to play the file.

Try to play the file with the Ace DivX player, download it from :: http://www.gustosoft.com/divx-player...ivx-player.htm

Its a freeware and it will definitely play your file.

One last word, before installing this player uninstall all your codec packs and clean your registry with any good registry cleaner such as Registry Rescue from :: http://www.pcprivacysoftware.com/bes...y_cleaner.html.

Now install your player and try playing your file. If you wanna go for a codec pack do not use multiple packs but instead install a single codec pack such as K-Lite Mega Codec pack.
