Default How to convert Videos to Animated GIF Images?

Dudes, which software can be used to convert Videos (preferably DAT/WMV/AVI) to Animated GIF format? Just to create a new Avatar..

I found one-two shareware programs, but these have the limitation of introducing Watermark. I also tried the softwere 'Konvertor' but its not working properly.. Help me..

Default well flashing

well then i think it was much below the standard of smoothcrim..to ask tha question as i see he has been answering many harder ones
well i think the option all have forgotten is
macromedia flash
well i think it can convert avi to gif
and i have heard that mx have included advance features for video import
so hopes fines
other wise i think
a single download.com
search would have solved the problem
thks
saha
