now the problem is that the TOTAL download is showing 600MB TOTAL upload is howing abt 350MB and the percenatge complete is 90 % now if the file is 540MB and then how is this been shown???? can anybody answer??? also the space alloted in C: drive is 540 mb so where is this d/l ed extra stuff going...and if its 540 mb frm where the hell it is d/l ing??? TO MANY QUESTIONS TO BE ANSWERED

The extra data that has been downloaded is just discarded by Bitcomet, just because it is either a garbage data, or because the piece doesnt match its hash.
This question has been asked several times. I guess these links should answer your queries: Link 1 | Link 2 If you want to prevent this from happening, either use Azureus ( another torrent Client ) or limit your Maximum Connections per task in Preferences-Advanced Savvy
