Cool triple boot!!!


hey can we have 3 os on one computer like win xp on c:\,win 98 on d:\, and linux on e:\ on one hard disk? why/why not?

Yes, you can have more than two OSes no probs if properly done.

ya sure

suppose you install 98 on C: and xp on D: then you get boot menu of windows at startup to choose a windows version to start.

Now u install linux on E: then u get boot menu of linux at startup to choose the os to start.

alternatively, you can try boot loader softwares like www.xosl.org

U can hv as many OS installed on ur HDD as u want!

it is also possible to install win 98 and win xp on the same partition.

Its possible! But not advised...
Better to install on separate partitions.

you can have more than three OSes installed in your comp. Lyk 2 Flavours of LinuX OSes, 2 Windows OSes

it is unlikely that all will get affected.... but if u have only one OS and it gets affected then what will ya do?? it is better to have 2..

I have win98 on C:,win Xp on F,mac os x on the last partition of hd0 and linux on the last partition of hd1
