Default windows media player-11

help me...
i downloaded the windows media player 11, but the pack started searching for WGA.. i dont have a genuine windows .. i tried to use some tips given in the forum to bypass the WGA test but those tests require that i have a windows xp service pack 2...what do i do

my machine is presently windows xp only...i have the service pack 2 cd but that too refuses to work citing non genuity of windows xp
