Default Re: CRC Failure

A cyclic redundancy check (CRC) is a type of hash function used to produce a checksum - which is a small, fixed number of bits - against a block of data, such as a packet of network traffic or a block of a computer file. The checksum is used to detect errors after transmission or storage.
UR DVD is corrupted , i think u need to get the game again from ur friend.

Post Re: CRC Failure

Yep CRC errors are very anoying!.U can either try making a copy of da DvD.Or If ur friend has it on his HDD then write it on a DvD.
U can do 1 more thing.........make an image of the DvD and then mount it on a virtual drive......but it does not usually work on Data DvDs ,but works on movies...
If the same DvD works on ur friendz pc then ur optic drive may be faulty.
