browser troubles

help me guys

i use firefox and IE, but mainly use FF.. since d last few days both my browsers r giving me trouble... though surfing is good, i cant download some files... i tried goin 2 getfirefox.com and tried downloading FF it did. but wen i went 2 opera.com.. it was not downloading... i mainly use firefox 4 all my downlaods.. i always downlaod video and audio files which r more than 16mb without any problems..but i m not able 2 download all d files..
downlaod starts a bit and den hangs ..no progress..

i used 2 hav zone alarm and kaspersky av. but now i hav uninstalld zonealarm as my systems hav bcom a bit slow .. do any 1 of u know wat is d problem.... i m not able 2 download all files..help me if u can

Cant configure ur problem, but may be a download manager or a FF extension cud help u out. Try either DAP 8 or FreshDownload for Download managers or FlashGot as a FF extension. (available at www.addons.mozilla.com )

It appears as if you are having connectivity problem with your ISP..

Try checking it with ping command..

Ping to your ISP server by..

ping <Ip of ISP server> -t

If there are big delays + regular breakage then its the reason you are unable to download..
You are able to surf properly because while surfing data packets are too small that you are not affected apparently in surfing but in download they are big as well as continues .. !

If its not connectivity problem .. then might your internet is getting slower than earlier.
