Default help regarding Windows Xp 64 bit...

Is windows 64 bit better than normal Xp Sp2..
Does it helps in boosting speed..
im having intel processor with EM64T..
will Xp 64bit will give extra boost frm Xp Sp2...
Also r all the programs 64 bit compaitable...

well it will be faster but most programs do not still have 64bit versions.... u will get all the drivers n all but u are most likely to run the programs in 32 bit mode even after u install winxp 64...

Ya it is. But only if u have money to spare. And most importantly try it before buying it download the trial version from MS site

and wat bout 16bit programs??
is turbo c++ a 16bit application??

Ya nearly all will run smoothly. And 16 bit softwares will not work even 32 bit softwares having 16 bit install will not work.
Turbo C++ is a 16 bit software

The DOS based Turbo C++ compilers will not work in Win XP 64 bit.
You will need some compiler like Bloodshed C++ to write and compile your programs.
