need some help

guys I have recently started working in computers so I m not used to solving errors.I need ur to solve a problem.I recently got a second hand pc .For some days it worked fine but from few days it has generated a problem which i m unable to solve.Whenever I install a new program and try to work on it after installing it an error is generated.
Program Error
Program.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows.You will need to restart the program.
An error log is being created.
If somebody is able to solve this problem I will be thankful to him/her.

pl mention ur comp configuration and the OS u r using with full details or no one can help
