Default Irritating BOLD font problem in WIN XP PRO


Hi guys,

Today wen i started my System, then the FONT was BOLD like this Including the desktop icon names, All Programs (from start menu), Control panel icon names and almost everything (the font only). I tried the Accessibility Options and set the display to Windows Standard but still the Bold Font is present. Wat to do ?? Here is an example of how my font is lookin

I even tried the Desktop Properties>themes>WIn XP but still the problem persists..Please help me restore my fonts to normal (un BOLD) type...

I hv WIN XP PRO+SP2.

Did u also try:

Desktop Properties -> Appearance, click on Advanced button and check that the items, like "Menu, Icons, Message Box, Selected Items, etc. r not set to BOLD!

Thanx for ur reply Vishal,

Well yes the Font was set to Tahoma , so can u tell me wats the font that WIN XP uses for all its icon names and everything ??? I mean wats the default sizes and font that WIN XP has for all its icon names and fonts in All programs. ??

I hv found this: Desktop Properties> Appearance> Advanced> Item (icon size 32) and in Font> Times New Roman (Size 8).

Please guide me and help me to set the original sizes and font types that WIN XP uses......
