Default DVD

I've got several questoins about DVDs, so here goes. Sorry if this is in the wrong place though !

1. Is there a free software download somewhere on the net with which I can make root menus for my DVD movies ?

2. I have a 4x 4.7GB DVD, but I need to write a 7.72 GB movie DVD (4 in 1). I know this is possible, coz I've seen people do it several places. How is this possible if the maximum file size for a DVD is only 4.7 GB ???

u mean an autostart menu ?
yeah there is autostart meny builder
and loads of software like that
they maybe under description of "cd" but they'll obviously work for dvds

for the dual layered movies ( 7+ gb ) u need either dl layered media and a dl layered capable drive
or u can "TRY" shrinkin it down using "dvd shrink"
look for that software
if ur able to remove the unwanted stuff from the dvd then ull be able to fit it in a normal dvd

Unwanted stuff as in ? There are 8 AVI files and all of them are part of the 4 movies. And the movie DVD I'm referring to is not double layered - it's a normal DVD playing only on one DVD. And what is a "dl" layered media ? I have a Sony DVD RW DW-Q30A DVD Writer. Is the a dual layered capable drive ?
