Default word 2003 copy protection


hi
can anyone plz help me out??
i m a student and in our college it it required to submit the assignments in softcopy to student folder. but i have seen that many of my friends used to copy the submitted assignment and use it for their assignment purpose. so can anyone plz help me out how can i prevent this??how can i protect it so that no one can copy/paste form it??

plzzz its very urgent...

pdf with edit protection??
hw can i make a pdf file by the way?there is no option in windows 2003 to save it as a pdf format?
do i hv 2 use pagemaker??

PDF with edit protection will require Acrobat which most people wont have... Perhaps converting it into Flash might help but not sure.... Or posting it at the last minute....

Easiest option is to zip it with password and inform the professor what the password is...

in word 2003

go to tool -> option -> securioty ->

give password to open file even for to edit the file

that will allow to copy in drive but not allow to open means the content of file will not visible to any till user does't supply correct password to open



even in advance it provide diff. encrypton algo. for passwords

Yup, either fillow wat Vinay said or make a RAR zip file (using WinRAR) or a WinZIP file and set paswrd to it.
