DISPLAY PROBLEMS

Hi whenever i move my pointer over the battery icon in the taskbar the charge remaining is shown behind the taskbar.what can i do to make it appear in the foreground?

-- frm control panel disable the power options
-- is the taskbar locked ???? if yes then unlock it
-- right click on taskbar and click on "lock the taskbar ",that will unlock it
-- enable the power options
-- and then enable "lock the taskbar" .. this will lock it once again

lets see if these work out!
