output video from comp 2 tv along with scrolling text(urgnt)

i need to give the video output from my comp to a tv and also need to run scrolling textat the bottom.
what all things do i need. what software is required.?

common guys guys pl share any sugestion ...
well i think using a graphics card i can get the video out put to a tv.
but give me some method to put some scrolling text on the video.
i'm not talking abt re-encoding the video with the scrolling text...i want to put scrolling text in real time...
using some software ofcourse.
ne sort of suggestion is most welcome.

A software something like TVSTATION is required for this purpose. You can get this info from your local cable operator also. I don't remember the name exactly but i will get it from my cable operator and let you know.
