virus or something else

please help me !!!!!!!!!!!!!

i recently suffered a great problem and i don't know how to overcome.I scanned my computer through norton and detected a virus names Trojan.anserin infecting a fill named ibm00007.exe in microsoft shared folder in program files and I deleted that file.Now when I restart my computer after getting all the icons on the desktop it shows me a error that the above file is missing and to search open start and search the file.What should i do now.Also in the microsoft shared folder/web folders the files named ibm00006.dll and ibm00008.dll is present ,should i do anything to remove those files also. please please tell me .

Hi,
Hmmm....ibm*.exe, its a Trojan which uses Winlogon Notify key to start itself when Windows loads.
Download and install Ewido Security Suite v3.5. After download, double click on the file to launch the install process. During installation, under "Additional Options" uncheck "Install background guard" and "Install scan via context menu". Launch ewido by double-clicking the "e" icon on your desktop. The program will prompt you to update - click the "OK" button. On the left side of the main screen, click on "Update" and then click "Start Update". After the updates are installed, exit from Ewido.


Boot in Safe Mode.


Run Ewido, click on the "Scanner" button in the left menu, then click on the "Settings", here select the option "Scan every file" and click "OK". Next, click "Complete System Scan" button to start scan. If ewido finds anything, it will pop up a notification. You can select "Clean" and check the boxes "Perform action with all infections" and "Create encrypted backup" before clicking on OK.


Reboot to Normal Mode, download HijackThis and unzip it to dedicated folder (like C:\HijackThisFolder\hijackthis.exe).
Then run it and click the button Do a System scan and save log file. HijackThis will perform a scan and saves the log file as hijackthis.log in the same folder where it is installed and it also opens the file automatically. Copy the entire contents of the file and post it here.

Hi,
Log looks clean You can delete those backups. Also, check whether there are any files like ibm0000*.exe (where * can be 7,9,6 etc) inside the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Folders\, if you find them, delete them.
