Default how to know how much i downloaded it????


i am a sify user. my package is 64kbps, 150mb per day i can download,unlimited surfing.please suggest me some software how to know that i have downloaded 150 mb,because if i have download more than
150 mb my days decrease.

Use Free Download Manager and keep track of ur downloads...

Its safer than Download Accelator (DAP) as it does not implement Spywares onto ur system unlike DAP.

but, howz that they are able to distinguish whether u "download" or "browse". browsng by itslef, it is downloading to your system, the temporary files???

try dulimit. it calculate monthly, weekly, daily MB counting, get it frome here- http://www.dumeter.com/

I too have the question, how can they(sify) distinguish download ans surfing? Anybody there to clear this doubt?

Surfing means downloading webpages with images. So, that too is downloading. If not , none of these softwares can help but only your download manager. Still I think surfing too is included in that 150mb so you may take care of it, and use any of the above mensioned software.
