Default Problem encoding videos to DivX

I have the Dr. DivX soft. Whenever I encode movies(DVD or CD) using this soft n with default settings the encoded video shows some probs while runnin. For example, sometimes the audio runs b4 the video. This prob occurs with videos I got from my friend too....How can I solve this prob?

i think it is because you changed the frame rate to another value (ie the default dr.divx setteings) from the original.

Don't use the default settings, create your custom profiles. Also keep the output drive clean and defragmanted

If you have low sys. config. try running nothing else, when you encode. Coz, encoding depends upon the CPU usage!!
Just as you would do when writing a disc!
