Firefox problem

using firefox 1.5
i'm having a strange problem
as soosn as i connect to the net and start firefox it just hangs
it starts using around 95-98% of cpu
on the other hand opera works just fine
i've tried re-installing but to no avail

try this.
uninstall firefox again.
clear pc junk with 'ccleaner' or any other good registry cleaner.
reboot.
reinstal firefox.
hope it helps.
