[b]HELP WANTED:: WINRAR FAILS 2 UNRAR :: HELP WANTED[/b]

Hi everybody out here!
Dis is my 1st post here!


I wud like 2 share some prob wid u all.
Hope some of u may hv got d solution .

I hd downloaded a *.rar file frm d net. approx 90 mb.
Wen i tried 2 unrar it wid winrar, d progress bar showd upto 100% as if complete operation was successful
Yet at the last point it terminated with an error msg

WinRARiagnostic Message

"!*:\*.rar: CRC failed in 3d_game_maker.iso.001. The file is corrupt"

Den I tried to fix it wid Advanced RAR Repair (ARAR) software.
It pretended dat it identified d prob & also fixed it to a new file named *fixed.rar.
But wen i tried 2 unrar d fixed file now, d error msg again showd up.

Everyother unraring softwares beside winrar failed wid same or similar error msgs xcept 7-zip
7-zip unrard d file, gave an arror msg at end, but successfully unrard d file 2 a location.

But now d prob:

d folder containd a setup file alongwith cab files, setup.ini files, etc of a software which i tried 2 run
but it gave error msg

"cud nt load data file, bad data file"

I think dat although 7-zip unrar d file, it cudnt perform perfect end operation and only partial data file was unrard.
Infact the data.cab files unrard were damaged files.

Anybody got any other solution?

For information, I had downloaded the rar file from net thru Opera and is like any other rar file xcept it doesnot get unrard (fully or parially).

anyhow try using quickpar and par files

prolly some files in that archive might be corrupted or maybe the site's copy itself is corrupted
