had posted my experience here somewhere......
posting it again.

downloaded and installed onecare. the windows onecare folders say almost 60 MB.

apart from an antivirus, it has a backup utility. it also has a basic tune-up utility, which actually just runs ur default disk cleaner and windows defragmentor. it also checks up ur pc for missing windows updates, scans for avirus, and lets u backup, all in one click. but nothing new, really !

i could not download the exe setup file so that i could uninstal and then instal it again in future if required. if i uninstal it now, i will have to download the whole fxxxxxx thing all over again. wish there was a way to download the setup file. it just instals on ur pc like the updates.

dont know how good the antivirus definations are; speed is ok. resource utilisation (in my opinion) slightly on the higher side.

there is an improvement in the firewall functions though. it monitors outgoing traffic too and asks for ur permissions.

it did not conflict with the zonealarm security suite, avast, avg on my pc, but i believe it has serious conflicts with norton, macafee, trendmicro, etc. so take care.

bottomline, if u have a good antivirus in place u dont need this one. but we will have to see how good its antivirus really develops into.

that will be its acid test !

PS : its first problem
