Default C compiler for XP x64


Hi guys

I am running Windows XP x64 bit OS.
Where can i get a free C/C++ compiler.
Turbo C dosent seem to work anymore on this system.

Why don't u try out BloodshedDevC++ v4(v5 in beta). its a freeware.
U could also download the Borland C++ V5.5 Compiler (free registration and download)and use it. But since it doesnot have an IDE, you would like to download the SciTEG editor and patch it up with the compiler so that you could edit ur proggies through the editor and compile it through the compiler. Its pretty simple actually. The whole procedure for doing so will appear in an html document once you download the compiler from borland's site.
Dunno abt 64bit OSes but
Its working fine with my Win2K OS with SP3
