Mivie maker is not the best movie making software out there....
with hardly any options... u cant do anything...
why dont u try something else...
what format ur camera gives videos in..
i think it sud be mpeg

BTW i dont understand why there is no sound... it takes the sound from the video file itself...

If u want to use wmv... then use VBR if ur player supports it... u'll hopefully get better results..

the pictures will obviously be blurred bcoz of the low resolution u took them in.Increase the resolution to one of these options to have clear pictures
• 2034 x 1728
• 2304 x 1536
• 2048 x 1536
• 1280 x 960

and in WMM,u can add audio by selecting the timeline mode and dragging the sounds to the audio/music timeline.

Hope this helps ya!

Default reply to windows movie maker help

Thanx to all,

I will certainly try out the suggestion u all made.

In this context i want to know the name of "any other software' which could yield better movie , using sound and transition like a slide show.
which would be viewable in a standard vcd player.

Will Adobe Premiere give better result ?

Why pay for something (Premiere) when you can have the same functionality for free (WMM)?
