Default windows xp problem


i am having a p III system with 64 MB ram. I have installed windows xp on that. now i upgraded with a 128 mb ram. now xp is taking more time to boot and sometimes in stucks in between the boot process. can anyone tll me the reason and a solution for this?

r u sure tht the RAM frequencies r in sync with each other

just try removin the 64mb module and observe the boot process

if there is a prob the new RAM card might be faulty
if there isnt then the frequencies might not be matchin


mind u the prescribed RAM requirements for XP is 256mb
