CnQ not working even after installing AMD supplied drivers

Athlon 64 2800+ on k8mmv fx5900, sb live Barracuda 7200.7

Yesterday, after nearly 2years, I formatted my Hdd and reinstalled windows but even after installing the AMD drivers, CnQ is not working, the proccy remains stuck at full speed. It's enabled it from the bios, and it used to work fine in my earlier install. Drivers, hardware and software config is now identical to the old install but it still does not work.

I would be really grateful if anyone could help
