frequent restart

i have bought a new pc with the config:

AMD 64 bit 3200
A8N-E ASUS mobo
512 MB RAM
160 GB
6200 n-VIDIA 128MB


the problem i'm facing is it restarts sometimes unreasonably when i opens something,otherwise it works fine

i already have installed 24 pin snpm fan

plz help

At the startup press F8(i assume you have Win XP)
There will be an option "Automatic System Restart"
Disable it and report what happens next

go to system properties---Advanced. go to Setting under Startup and Recovery-- uncheck the Automatically Restart. may be it will help you.
