Exporting contacts in gmail

Can someone plz tell me how to export contacts from gmail to thunderbird...

I had seen something like that a few days a ago with a "new" tag for exporting contacts in gmail but I cant find it now...

Plz help

Go to contacts ----All contacts -- then Export

it will ask you the format
1. GMail CSV [into another gmail]
2. Outlook CSV [into outlook clients]

select the desired CSV and export it.

you can make changes into the CSV file as per your requirement.
