Default application error help?

recently i upgraded my pc from P3 to AMD 2800 uP with 512 MB RAM

now, whenever i try to intstall mozilla thunderbird and mozilla suite, after the installation when programm launches it shows following error

application error

The instruction at "0x77c578f3" referneced memory at "0x77c578f3". The momory counld not be "written".

Click on OK to terminate the program
cLICK on CANCEL to debug the program

another problem is that i'm unable to install opera in my pc

during the starting of the setup it shows following error

could not load the dll library
f:/docume`1/bhavi/locals`1/temp/glf11.tmp
invalid access to memory location

please help

its recomended to reinstall the OS after u do such overhall to ur PC... did u reinstalled the OS??

yep, i've reinstalled both OS, but the problem is still there

seems problem wid ram. make sure that the ram modules are seated fully in. clean the contacts if necessary. if it doesn't help, try ur ram modules on ur fren's comp and his modules on ur comp.

means ur stuck with just IE ..... !!!!

nyway try cleaning out the RAM,and by the way howz the overall working of PC...
u getting these kind of messages on any other application???

try out maxthon browser ... http://www.maxthon.com


ohhhh...just off the track .... IE isn't that bad...is it ????

these errors are only for mozilla suite and thunderbird not for all the application and for only perticular version not for all version,

if the problem is with RAM than this error should come with all the programm

why with only 2 or 3??

oh you not getting these errors wid other progs? then surely either the installation is corrupt or you are missing some imp dlls.
