Default firewall problem in win xp


Recently i installed zonealarm pro 6 on my computer after the installation

a message appeared to restart the computer as usual i restarted my pc

after the windows xp booting sign logon screen not appeared instead there

is a blank black screen.

How to solve this problem and can i install this

firewall if not which is the best other than zonealarm

please help

Restart your computer in safe mode, uninstall zone alarm and switch back.

(If it doesnt work, use windows recovery and recover to a previous date)

Now when you login in normal mode, download a new copy of zonealarm from its website and install it.

Zone alarm is the best and user friendly.

I think the person concerned did not ask for your advice on firewalls....

And that problem for me occurs even after installing the updated version. There is no way but to uninstall it from Safe Mode

Are you on LAN? Cause there is this thing with the latest ZoneAlarm and LANs.
