strange problem. i been using Chrome since it was in ver 2 or 3 that also in DEV channel most of the time. Never faced this problem. Are you using the stable build? Or tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling? usually reainstalling doesn't help but try once and check Google Chrome Task Manager. Maybe it'll show the cause of this.

Fascinating, never seen something like this. And yes I'm a long time Chrome user as well. You sure yours isn't a nightly build? Or perhaps a rouge extension?

I never faced such type of problem.
Have you faced this problem only once or facing this problem continuously?Inactive in TDF.

by default HW acc is off. looks like extension problem.
