Unassociate file type !!

How to Unassociate the Default Action for a Windows File Type in windows 7 ?
please help me.

^^right click on that .pdf file than click on Properties after that one dialogue box appeared in which change Open with option with Adobe reader or any pdf viewer software you haveinstalled on your system.
apply & OK.
after the changes all .pdf file will open with adobe reader or other alternative pdf viewer which you installed on your system.

Right click on any .pdf file.
Click on Properties.
Click on 'Open With' and select any pdf reader.
Click Ok.
DONE!!!!!

& select the checkbox to make the opening program as default

u r talking about dissociation, not changing association

you can do it by following method
go to Windows Registry Editor (WinKey + R >> then type regedit >> hit Enter)

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT >> expand this >> look for the extension which u want to dissociate, delete its default value,
