Default win 2000 boot problem


in win 2000 the windows starts and then it automatically logs in using one of users and then
it gives error message that
the system registry is too small ..increse it
then it starts count down for 30 seconds and again restarts
then same thing

what the problem...any solution ..
it doesnt start with any safe mode
even last good configuration gives same result
so whats matter

U can boot into other account by pressing ctrl+alt+del at the time, when login dialog box appears...
It can help u...

just boot ur pc in the safe mode and check out ur registry size, may be it's really small and login using ctrl+alt+delete to remove this prob. also make sure u must install sp4 to avoid such prob........

put the windows 2000 CD in the drive

start->run-> sfc /scannow

the windows does same thing in all safe modes
it tries to login in in one account then gives same message
even
ctrl alt del
doesnt works

by the way linux is also there in that comp

i a not being able to log in and start windows how can i give those commands
thanks for replies
i can go to bios and even that safe modes options
