Best way to LOCK any file & folder ? Help me to lock my personal data.

Hi guys,
I know its very common question asked by many ppl. But my question lil bit different. I've some pics which i want to lock in that way so nobody can unlock it, even hacker also. I've locked all my personal pics around 1GB in WRAR with alphanumeric password. But I've seen on net that RAR file can be unlocked with the help of password recovery tool. is that true?

So tell me what is the best way to LOCK files on portable/usb disk ?

Well I have seen many such rar password recovery softwares but haven't used them as all of them are paid.
On the same note, is there any way to password protect applications? Like if someone tries to run any application then it should ask a password?

Windows 7 Admin Rights Management Allows that IMO.

you mean paid application can unlock RAR file?

Anything can be unlocked, dude. You just need time. Use a long complex password with truecrypt and even the FBI NSA CIA etc won't be able to open it. Dunno about CID though. They seem to do the impossible. :-P

Yeah, they can. Atleast they claim but I never tried. As said above, only strong passwords can save you the day someone decides to break open your files.

may be Yes, i have tried the unlocking the rar file but no luck.
only one thing i can say is first encrypt the rar file with the password protect and next lock the file with sw and try to change the password in weekly basis.
