Recover Sent Mails from Gmail Server?

Hello friends!

I am on Win XP using Outlook Express to access my emails. Today I accidently deleted all my sent mails and then compacted all folders thereby automatically deleting the backup of sent mail also. As those mails are of high importance to me, is there a way to download all those mails from the gmail server.

Please note that I want to download just the sent mails from the gmail server and not all mails from inbox also.

Please help. Its very important and urgent

You have OE configured the Gmail account as IMAP?

If you did, there's no way to recover them, unless you have a backup somewhere.

No, I am using the POP3 method and I have already checked and all the mails still exists in the Sent mail of Gmail server. All I need to know is a way to download the mails from sent mails from Gmail server.

You'll have to configure the account as IMAP & move the sent folder contents to your OE folder.
