the previous thread has become too weird so Making new thread, I suppose that tweaking is not just tinkering with Registry or overclocking yr computer. It is about adding new function in the OS which normally people don't know... Here is the first one I am posting here. To add a image in the "My computer" properties window Create a file oeminfo.ini in notepad as shown below... [General] Manufacturer=DreamTech Inc. Model= [OEMSpecific] SubModel= SerialNo= OEM1= OEM2= [Support Information] Line1=Support Contact: dabster7000@gmail.com Create a bmp image file in oemlogo.bmp in photoshop or fireworks which you wanna display in the window. Save both the Files in <Windows parttion drive >/windows/system32 folder And you are done... Now open my computer properties. image with all info will be right there.... |
