Default Help needed for win7 system recovery options...

I recently upgraded to win8 dp. Due to issues related to it i wanted to recover my win7. But in order to do that i need to use cmd.exe from win7 installation dvd. After booting from the dvd when i choose repair option the system recovery window opens. In the window when i select windows developer preview and click next it shows up a box saying 'this version of system recovery options is not compatible with...'.

How can i resolve this problem?

^^i did not create a backup image of win7 and upgraded to win8 dp. I want to restore win7 from windows.old folder and thus i am following tutorial-
Click here to see the tutorial.

Anyways, i searched the internet and found that people like me who have 2 or more HDDs in their PC are facing this problem and some of them have resolved this by editing HDD BBS in BIOS. Do you think that by removing the HDD which doesn't have the OS installed, can help me?
