Default Windows Installer


Whenever I try to Open a msi package, I get an error that eiher the msi package is corrupted and something like that



Please Help


PS:

I have Windows XP Home Edition SP2 + Almost all latest critical updates............

you may have windows installer older version.so that it is not why u can install it.so download the latest windows installer at

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en


At then try out with installation.

Please.... I havent installed so amny programs that I have downloaded.................. There are so many of them..........

Oh, I fixed the problem. Actually, the problem was disallowing long filenames and 8.3 filenames........ Fixed it with the help of WinBoost..... Done
