How to access PC HDD from wifi enabled mobile

We have a PC connected to a adsl broadband modem using rj45 cable and a laptop via wifi to the same modem.

we share internet and files between the computers.

I have a android mobile samsung galaxy pro. I use the same wifi connection to use internet on my mobile.

Now my question is can i connect to the laptop via wifi to access files saved on its HDD? If it yes how can i connect.

Pc os is win xp. Lappie os is win 7. Mobile is android.

Please help.

It's doesnt matter how any device connects to one access point through LAN, wifi or bluetooth. If all of them are on a same network(device), then your are good to go.-) Windows7 and xp will not face any issue regarding file sharing, but for android device check if it support file sharing through provided software via wifi or Bluetooth only or if any third party software available to fullfill that need.

Thts what I was asking. Is there any software we have through which we can establish a network connection (for file sharing) between an android device and a windows system.
