Default How to increase the size of desktop and explorer icons?


Guys!
I want to know how can I increase the size of Explorer icons and desktop icons in windows XP without using any s/w ?
I mean I want to increase the size of desktop and all explorer icons like Vista.
Is there ne way?

To increase the size of desktop do a resolution change.

640x480 gives you a small desktop and 1024x768 or more gives you a big desktop (while in higher resolution if you cant read the text properly change the size of the fonts)

to view a large icon on your desktop right clik on your desktop >> go to properties >> go to appearance >> click advanced >> choose ICON in the ITEM drop down box >> enter the size required on the SIZE box next to it and click OK[/quote]

I don't want to change the resolution.
But the Desktop properties trick worked.
