Default Booting windows 7 over lan


I have a laptop with no hdd.....
but it has got GBe and my PC also has GBe.... the laptop is a dell vostro with core 2 duo and 3gb ram....
i just want to know how to boot windows 7 on my laptop over lan from my pc.....
i have seen such computers in my school lab, although they use windows server 2003.....

Are you trying to use the hardware from a remote location ? If not, a Live CD will be the best way to use the laptop till you fix the HDD.

@pramudit: dear you cannot just use booting Win7 as it is because, due to large image size & other factors Windows 7 cannot be embedded on RAM (Source:Microsot MSDN) and second iSCSI boot is natively supported only by server OS's and not by Client OS's (Source: Microsoft Technet).

So, in order to do what you want method suggested by @thetechfreak is absolutely correct, you have to have create some virtual harddisk image to boot from. Also ccboot support client OS's like XP and Win7 which I presume you have on your desktop. Also you can't just use same OS from you are booting on desktop which is on your PC HDD to boot from as you have said.
