Question Dynamic disks vs Basic disks

Hello,

Please tell me the difference between dynamic volumes and basic volumes. I tried Googling it, but I didn't understand much of what I found.

All of my drives are dynamic. Will it cause any problem in the future?

A friend of mine told me that it is not possible to install additional operating systems (dual boot) on dynamic volumes. Is it true?

My computer runs on Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.

Regards.

P.S.: I have posted a screenshot of the "Disk Management" window. Please note that drive I: refers to my external hard disk drive.
