Default partition magic error

i'm using an 80gb single partition sata hdd in my desktop. i'm using a 1tb usb 2.0 external hdd (seagate freeagent) - divided into 7 partitions. recently when i opened partition magic 8.0 while my external hdd still connected to my computer, an error appeared whose screenshot i'm attaching here. what's the issue?

&& don't pay much attention at what PM8 is showing you - if the HDD is working fine then nothing to worry about - if you want to check your HDD use HDTune Pro or your HDD manufacturers official tool

I've fixed this kind of errors with PM magic once - after that Xp can only recognize 3 partitions of HDD but win 7 can only recognize and use the first partition - tried a lot of HDD partition related tools - but none of them worked on win 7 but still Xp can use all those partitions just fine - so it's better to ignore those weird errors Pm shows
