Question Windows XP boot issue


CAn any1 pls help me?

I accidently formated my boot partition and now my pc is not booting up. i had windows dev edition on one partition and windows xp on the other. i formatted the win dev partition. pls help me to reset my pc...

Just do a clean install of Windows on the formatted partition.

Reinstall Windows. It seems you deleted the boot-loader.

yes...the bootloader is lost..
first boot using windows XP CD & try to repair the windows partition
if not successful then re-install the windows XP your problem will be solved....

No need to reinstall.

Get your Windows XP installation CD. Boot from it. Go to the Recovery Console option. Select the Windows installation (it will ask) and use the fixmbr command.
