Default About Windows 7 MSDN edition

I got Windows 7 professional MSDN edition from my brother since he was not using it.My question is that

1)What is MSDN edition? Is it genuine & legal to install??Is it full version or trial??

2)What is difference between Win 7 pro retail/oem & Win 7 pro MSDN?

3)Can one I install that copy on my two computers??

4)Is there any validity for that serial of win 7 MSDN???

Waiting for reply thank you.

1. Msdn is generally for students of engg like I got one myself. Its genuine, full, legal and free.

2. No difference between Win7 pro/OEM and Win7 from Msdn.

3. No I guess. Its registered to one computer, but that depends on your MSDN subscription like I have 3 serials for win 7 from MSDN.

4. Just like you purchase win7 with serial comes with activation process likewise for Win7 from msdn.

A small copy paste from Wikipedia
Quote:
The Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN) is the portion of Microsoft responsible for managing the firm's relationship with developers and testers: hardware developers interested in the operating system (OS), developers standing on the various OS platforms, developers using the API and scripting languages of Microsoft's applications. The relationship management is situated in assorted media: web sites, newsletters, developer conferences, trade media, blogs and DVD distribution. The life cycle of the relationships ranges from legacy support through evangelizing potential offerings.
